Description:
This attractive washbasin it made 100% by the best artisan in our workshop.
First the shape( tradition shape, called mekhfiya) , it made by simple wheel ( using hand and feet) after so many steps of treating the clay.
Then we burn our sink for the first time in order to get the biscuit.
Then we paint the sink by hand, and we put in the oven for the second time in order to have the final product finished.
The nickel work, it’s other process also made by hand (nickel is a white metal does never come black).
This handicraft of pottery is one of the older Moroccan traditions (as it's human heritage in all over the world).
